It is recommended a high EPA:DHA ratio for omega-3 supplements supports cardiovascular health. High dose EPA has been shown to support healthy heart functions. Furthermore, MitoQ MitoMega Omega-3 delivers high purity rTG (Re-esterified triglyceride), which are up to 70% more bioavailable than the standard ethyl esters.

Based on historical monitoring data of fish oil, the 92% EPA represents the proportion of EPA in the total Omega-3 fatty acids. Our fish oil is processed in the world’s largest state of the art omega-3 processing facility in Norway. Their patented 12-step manufacturing process ensures the fish oil is refined to the highest purity (99.7%). Fish oil is converted to esters which separates each omega-3, and then the omega-3 esters are concentrated to yield a high percentage of EPA (92% EPA).

The fish oil itself is a pale-yellow colour, which is a typical colour of fish oil. Caramel colour is added to protect Vitamin K2 from light and prevent degradation.
